Cooking up a storm

One of my favourite covers while working in the educational publishing arena was for Practical Cookery. It was a huge leap forward for the rather staid title that had been around for many years. I was determined to make the latest incarnation bold, modern and authoritative. I eventually won the day with sound persuasion in many board meetings. The result was a huge financial success with more volumes sold than ever before.
